Job Description:

Position:      PPC Lead

Location:     Sanjan near by Vapi

Experience:  7 - 9 Years

Responsibilities:

  • Production Control:
  • Effective planning by optimum utilization of available capacity of plant with consideration of the optimum inventory requirement.

  • Preparation of the RFF considering the Order Pipeline with the consideration of the Delivery commitments of the sales team.
  • Validating Weekly machine loading planning and plan it as per standard cycle time for the internal customer considering the RFF and to ensure timely updates in case of urgency or deviations.
  • Daily/Weekly planning of RM- Coordinating with SCM (Supply Chain Management) for Raw material availability as per machine loading planning.
  • Share revised Machine Loading if RM is not available as per lead time and for next 24 Hours.
  • Adherence to the RFF plan and coordinate with the interested parties i.e VSM, SCM, Production, Stores, packing, dispatch etc. for achieving the billing targets.
  • Validation of BOM and JRC as per the Workorder in pipeline.
  • Utilization of the Non Moving material after completing the required deviations procedure.
  • Availing the containers/trailers/vehicle as per the dispatch plan.
  • Perform RCA and Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA) for all types of non-conformity.
  • Data review and presentation in daily morning meetings, monthly operational review, monthly EMR and other review mechanisms.
  • Increase engagement, efficiency and effectiveness of self and team by encouragement, developmental trainings and adapting change driven by various change initiatives of organization.
  • Accountable for all the Auditable documents, trackers, SOP as per ISO.
  • Safety:
  • Safety Observation Tour (SOT)- 100% SOT adherence of the team, Lodging of unsafe act, unsafe
  • condition, near miss and closure of SOT action points within SLA
  • Perform RCA and CAPA for any safety incident
  • HIRA- Identify and perform HIRA mitigation plan
  • Quality:
  • Executing and monitoring all online activities
  • Ensuring production done as per Work Order requirement
  • Ensuring internal and in process inspection of products
  • People Development:
  • Provide induction training for team
  • Conduct CFR for the team
  • Perform and involve staff in OKR activity
  • Stock and Inventories:
  • Inventory Management
  • Daily reconciliation of inventory (RM, FG, WIP, Scrap)
  • Continuous improvement:
  • Contribute to Process Improvements: Contribute to cycle time improvement (define the cycle time of the product that is going to be made at the shop floor and improve the company’s capacity to manufacture it) for timely project executions
  • Ensure the elimination of losses: identify and take action against the top 3 potential reasons to eliminate the minor stoppages and breakdowns
  • Maintain 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) & Employee Health and Safety Norms on the Shop Floor to ensure the safety of the workplace and achieve growth in productivity
  • Prepare and Monitor the Man-Machine Chart and ensure the adherence of the same.
