Capital Credit Union Park, home to the 2023 Northwoods League Champion Green Bay Rockers, are looking for the next Rockstar. The marketing interns will serve under the supervision of the Director of Partnerships. This position will assist in ensuring all sponsorship and advertising contracts are implemented. Including on field games, PA and mascot appearances, local appearances. Additionally, this internship will have the opportunity to gain experience in sports by assisting in all departments.
Capital Credit Union Park opened on May 31st, 2019 and has hosts over 400 events each year. The playing surface is completely artificial turf, providing the versatility to host multiple events on the same day. While the playing surface is being used, groups are also able to host indoor events year-round in the TDS Club that overlooks the facility. Capital Credit Union Park sits just a mile from historic Lambeau Field.
Mascot Job Summary
Job Summary: As a Mascot, you will be responsible for bringing to life the character and spirit of our organization or team by portraying Rhoadie! Your role is vital in creating a memorable and entertaining experience for fans, engaging with audiences of all ages, and enhancing the overall fan engagement at events, games, and promotional activities.
Mascot Duties and Responsibilities
· Assume the persona of the Mascot character and convey emotions, energy, and enthusiasm through exaggerated movements, gestures, and body language.
· Perform dance routines, stunts, and crowd interactions to entertain and engage fans during games and events.
· Encourage audience participation, including leading cheers and chants, and posing for photos with fans.
· Assist in marketing campaigns and merchandise sales through Mascot-related promotions.
· Maintain the Mascot costume, ensuring it remains in good condition and is clean and safe for each performance.
· Be punctual and prepared for all performances.
Mascot Requirements and Qualifications
· Excellent physical stamina and endurance to perform in a Mascot costume for extended periods, often in varying weather conditions.
· Strong non-verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey emotions and enthusiasm through physical gestures and expressions.
· A friendly and engaging personality, with the ability to interact positively with fans and represent the organization professionally.
· Comfortable performing in a confined costume with limited visibility and mobility, adapting to different performance environments and situations.
· Prioritize safety, following safety protocols, and ensuring the well-being of both the performer and fans.
· Flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the organization's event schedule.
Internship Program
· Internship program runs from May 12th through August 15th 2025
· Interns will receive a bi-weekly stipend
· Receive certification in CPR/AED and First Aid
· Interns will participate in a bi-weekly career development class
· Interns must be in a college program related to field
· Interns will be required to find their own housing
· Post internship follow up and career guidance
