Flyspace Productions is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team in our North Shore office. The Intern will create and manage all social media marketing campaigns and properties to promote Flyspace, The Maverick, and Pittsburgh Mobile Bars. This is an opportunity to be behind the scenes at some of the largest events in the region to capture and highlight content across the company. The intern will develop and implement a social media plan that will be realized and measured throughout the semester, along with other requested cohesive content needed for marketing channels.
The ideal candidate is seeking to expand their experience and knowledge in the marketing, communications, and social media management fields. This person will work directly with event managers and company principals. They should be able to be self-directed, creative, organized, and methodical. To be successful, the Marketing Intern must be able to collaborate with other event professionals to support and highlight the work of the company, expertly manage their time and resources, and have excellent communication skills.
This is a paid internship position. We expect the candidate to be available for 10-15 hours per week for 12 weeks, consistent with any credit internship requirements. They should also be available to work in the office, and onsite at events to capture content. The intern will receive a stipend of $1,200 per semester in addition to credit hours. At the conclusion of this internship, the candidate will have developed and implemented a social media project with tangible resources and hands-on experience for both B2B and B2C brands.
