Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Intern will collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist and the broader marketing team to support various digital projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging content for social media platforms such as Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Reddit to increase reach and engagement.
  • Capture photos and videos of production facilities for use in social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Create email campaigns and automations to nurture leads and increase engagement.
  • Assist with SEO strategies, update website content, and create landing pages to improve traffic and conversions.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of paid digital advertising campaigns, including writing ad copy and creating visual assets.
  • Research emerging digital platforms and trends and recommend strategies to leverage them effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance across channels, providing actionable insights for optimization.
  • Work with internal teams on cross-functional projects that align digital marketing efforts with broader company goals.
  • Partner with team members to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all digital touchpoints.

 

Internship Details

  • Location: Onsite at our company headquarters.
  • Duration: Summer 2025; March – October (flexible to accommodate school schedules).
  • Hours: 40 hours per week

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, CRM platforms, and analytics.
  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Creativity and a strong visual sense.
  • Experience with photography, video production, and editing tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Portfolio showcasing prior projects is highly encouraged.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate equipment, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stand and walk.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, and crawl.
  • Occasionally required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50-pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasionally subject to loud noise.

 

Work Environment:

  • Safety glasses and steel toe shoes are required on the production floor at all times.
  • Hearing protection is required in designated areas.
  • Frequently subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electric current and exposure to heat and chemicals.
  • Occasionally subject to conditions including one or more of the following that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, or poor ventilation.
  • Occasionally exposed to cold, hot, wet and/or humid shop conditions.
