ETEK is seeking a highly skilled and creative Copywriter to join our team supporting the United States Mint’s Creative Services Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing compelling content that promotes the Mint’s programs, initiatives, and products across multiple platforms, ensuring brand consistency and engaging storytelling.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative concepts and write clear, persuasive, and original content for a variety of campaign assets, including but not limited to:
    • Marketing collateral
    • Infographics
    • Website copy
    • Social media content
    • Email campaigns
  • Create content that accurately reflects and reinforces the U.S. Mint’s brand identity, tone, and messaging guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, product teams, and U.S. Mint stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals and creative direction.
  • Conduct research to remain informed of industry trends, best practices, and innovations in digital marketing and public engagement.
  • Proofread and edit copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to style guides and federal communication standards.
  • Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining high-quality output under tight deadlines.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in copywriting, preferably in a federal government, creative agency, or public sector environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to write for a variety of audiences and platforms with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and content strategy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal agencies, particularly in public affairs, marketing, or creative services.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and plain language guidelines.
  • Knowledge of the coin, collectibles, or numismatics industry is a plus.
