Position Overview
The Advertising Specialist (PPC) at The Amazon Guru plays a crucial role in overseeing and fine-tuning Pay-Per-Click (PPC) marketing strategies for our valued clients. This position demands a high level of expertise in detailed auditing, comprehensive campaign management, keyword evaluation, and cross-departmental collaboration to effectively tackle advertising issues.

Primary Duties:
Account Auditing & Challenge Resolution:
● Prioritize urgent audits to swiftly identify and rectify challenges in underperforming accounts.
● Work closely with fellow directors and team members to devise solutions for advertising roadblocks.
● Conduct thorough account audits to pinpoint problem statements for potential clients.
● Maintain active communication with team members, managers, and clients to ensure the timely completion of tasks and projects.
● Present concise reports, notes, and summaries reflecting audit outcomes and campaign results.
PPC Account Management:
● Steer the development and expansion of 6-8 PPC accounts for our clients.
● Establish, implement, and uphold client-specific KPIs.
● Supervise all aspects of advertising accounts, which encompasses ad segmentation, budget allocation, and performance optimization.
● Confirm ad segmentation to minimize wasted ad spend and reduce ACOS.
● Initiate ad setups for new accounts, ensuring adept segmentation, keyword research, and budget distribution.
● Leverage keyword analytics to create and enhance manual campaigns, including:
○ High volume campaigns (broad, phrase, & exact match types).
○ Low volume campaigns (phrase & exact match types).
○ High relevancy campaigns (phrase & exact match types).
● Develop manual ASIN targeting campaigns, including defensive ASIN targeting strategies.

Required Qualifications (Only Apply If You Fulfill These Criteria)
1. Minimum of 1 year’s experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns, focusing on Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ads.
2. Necessary Amazon Certifications (please obtain if not already held):
○ Sponsored Ads Certification
○ Sponsored Ads Advanced Certification
○ Video Ads Certification
○ Campaign Optimization Certification
3. Proficiency in Helium 10:
○ Product Research - Black Box
○ Keyword Research - Magnet & Cerebro
○ Analytics - Keyword Tracker
4. Familiarity with SEO practices for Amazon optimization.
5. Mastery of G Suite / Google Sheets with a typing speed of 55+ WPM.

Experience:
● Strong command over campaign budgeting, forecasting, and an understanding of promotions and deals on Amazon.
● Expertise in analyzing keywords, optimizing campaigns, and minimizing ad expenditures.
● Demonstrated ability to manage various brands and accounts, develop strategies, and achieve favorable outcomes for a wide array of clients and products on the Amazon platform.
Bonus Competencies (Enhances Your Application):
● Experience with project management tools such as Jungle Scout, Asana, and Slack.
● Competence in Excel for detailed data management and reporting purposes.
● Additional Amazon Certifications (if not held, please acquire them):
○ SEMrush or Ahrefs SEO Certification (for advanced keyword and analytics capabilities).
